Financial Contract
We understand and agree to the following:
Parents are required to make payment on the last day of care for the week. Failure to do so will result in a request for payment of child care in advance. If a check is returned due to insufficient funds, parents will be responsible for all associated costs including bank charges. In cases of non-payment, parents will be responsible for all associated costs, including small claims court.
Your child care fee is based on the following:

Daily/weekly fees are figured for maximum 10 hour days. More than 10 hours will put in effect the extended hour rate (below)

Payment must be made on Friday of each week, unless prior arrangements have been made. Parents are required to pay for their child’s absences including any previously scheduled days, sick days, and vacations. Parents are not required to pay for Sue’s sick days or vacation days, unless she uses it as a paid personal day.
Child Care fees will automatically increase by $5.00/week effective the first week in September of each year.
Snow days will be charged at the full daily rate if school is canceled for the entire day or if your child returns to day care prior to 12:00 am. If your child returns to day care after 12:00 noon or school is delayed (ex. 2 hours late) any additional hours at day care will be charged the hourly rate listed above. Any early dismissals from school will be handled in the same manner.
Late fees of $5.00 for every 15 minutes after 5:30pm will be assessed.
The child care is closed on the following paid holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. When these days fall on a weekend Sue will be closed on the Friday or Monday closest to the Holiday and the parent will pay for that day. I am also closed the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and the day after Christmas. These days are also paid days off.
Sue will take five (5) paid personal days each year. These days may be used for vacation, sick days, or to attend her children’s events for school. The fee for these days will be paid by all families who would normally attend that day.
A two day a week minimum attendance is required to hold a spot in Sue’s child care. If you choose to take a lengthy time off from attending, but want the spot saved for you, you will be required to pay the fee for 2 days/week to hold the spot.
This contract may be terminated by either parents or Provider by giving a two-week notice in advance of the ending date. If your child is withdrawn without the required notice, two weeks fee will be due and payable upon termination. Sue will also give a two week advance notice if your child is to be terminated from child care. The two weeks fee will be due and payable upon termination if your child will not be present during the two week period.
This contract is effective ____________________ and subject to renewal and change with a two weeks notice.
I/We have read, understand and agree to comply with the commitments and policies stated in this contract. I/We understand that this is a legal and binding contract between Sue Conant and my family. I/We have been given a copy of Sue’s policy and this contract for future reference.
